When you have really curly hair- it's best to work with it, instead of style the heck out of it. I would get some layers put in and have your stylist thin it out...but just a little. Make sure he/she uses a razor- no scissors!

Have some layers put in by your face so your hair doesn't overwhelm you too much.

Try using products that enhance your curls and tame frizz. Curly hair is naturally drier than other textures so you don't need to wash it everyday. But if you must- just wash your hair with shampoo 2-3 times a week, every other day just use water.

Good luck!

Sounds like me! I have it a little shorter than shoulder length and layered, and I like it! Hair like this is hard to deal with, isn't it!

I would suggest either sticking a cute pin-up flower behind your ears, taking 2 finger of hair from each side and pinning it up to the middle on top of your forehead. Or just get a cute scrunchie and do 2 low piggy tails at the bottom running through the shoulders!

Sounds exactly like me. I tend to wear mine either down or I pull the front and sides back (1/2 up 1/2 down) with a long barette. I'll also pull it back on sides only (again 1/2 up 1/2 down) with a hairband, but I can't wear it in a ponytail nor up too long due to the fact its thick and will give me a headache. I NEVER do a bun.
