What is scab hair?

I had relaxed hair, but I did the big chop and went natural. It has beend 2-3 months, and my hair is still growing out relatively straight. I don't understand this. I was under the impression that once you cut all of your relaxed hair out; you automatically get the beautiful kinks and curls. Could someone please help me??!!!

What is scab hair?

Sometimes you can change the chemical make up of the hair folicle... for example during that time when all women are going through puberty... I got my hair permed... and now 15 years later... I still have curlyish hair... so just becareful of what you put on your hair...

also once you dye your hair you will never have your "natural color" back either...

What is scab hair?

I don't know, sounds kinda gross.

What is scab hair?

HI~ how short did you go? You may still have some relaxed hair left, or, if it's like buzzed, sometimes hair has to really get some length on it before it curls up. Hair grows about 1/2 inch a month.. so an inch an 1/2 or so in about three months will barely start to loop around unless it was extremely kinky curly to begin with.

Also, if you have had it relaxed for many years, hormones can play a part in curly/straight hair. Such as puperty, or if you had a baby.. ect.

What is scab hair?

sounds like scrap hair... i don like the term

Hair cutters remorse!?

Hey guys, listen, I goofed up big time when i cut my hair midway into 8th grade. When i was small, i had the most luscious, crimped-like, wavey, curly, brown and blonde hair, but i took it for granted. One day, i ordered(nicely of course) my mom to turn my crappy side bangs into total straight across the forehead bangs. I was a mess, I looked like kagome from inu yasha and that definately didn't make me all to happy. My hair frizzed to much and i resorted to straighteners, which killed my hair. I went to the stylist and had her cut my long mess of hair into a short hair style i like to call the Selphie look. That's right, short bangs, and my hair curled out at the end, i would be the ideal cosplayer for Selpie Tilmitt from Final Fantasy 9!! Anyways, now, I have great remorse, as i used to have the longest hair in the school, but now my neighbours hair seems far longer than mine. Can people cheer me up? I would love it if people could inspire me and make me feel good about... me

Hair cutters remorse!?

Try not to fret..hair grows back

Hair cutters remorse!?

I don't think that this is a best answer, I chose no best answer but it automatically shows that you gave the best answer. FYI i already know that hair will grow back. Inspiration would have been more helpful, all you said were 7 words that still mean nothing to me. Report It

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

okay so I went to Fred's looking to spend a bunch of money on deep conditioning and repairing hair products so I can get my hair healthy again.. I looked in the regular hair section and they didn't have any, then I went down and saw a whole big section for african american hair.. it had ALL these different hair repairing products that said it reconstruted/rebonded/strengthened damaged hair and split eneds and I couldn't help but buy some.. is it okay to use them in my hair? will it make my hair better? I bought

2 Hot Oil Treatments by Alberto v05 and Smooth 'n Shine 60 second critical repair. I also bought 3 "Seville Orange moisture miracle" but the girl on the cover is white so I know its safe for my hair.

I use Brilliant Brunette shampoo %26amp; conditioner, TIGI bedhead brunette goddess and pantene pro-v restoratives time renewal (and their hair mask) which line should I use?

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Conditioning products are conditioning products so you should be okay.

Personally, I really like Joico's K-Pak shampoo %26amp; conditioner when my hair needs TLC. I also like Pantene conditioners a lot.

BTW, I tried John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette products %26amp; found they left my hair feeling stringy and a little dry.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

You may want to ask a professional. The race of the person has nothing to do with whether or not you can use the product in your hair. Personally I have had no experience with black hair care products, which is why I say ask a professional and if they say that they are safe to use in your type of hair then go for it. Products are all about hair type.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Yes. You can use black haircare products, as far as shampoo and conditioner, on your hair. Anything else wouldn't do any good for your hair. All you are doing is switching shampoo. If you are that unsure, check the labels and if you are just paranoid about it, then go ahead and ask but there is no big deal.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Of course you can use that stuff on your hair. Conditioner is conditioner is conditioner no matter who it's marketed toward. My advice to you is to use the best products you can afford because they do have a better quality of ingredients than the $1.99 drugstore brand.

I like Matrix biolage hydrotherapie shampoo, conditioner etc. If I don't feel like going to my salon to buy some I get Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise (great deep conditioner) and Pantene's Relaxed and Natural shampoo.

I've never tried any of the other products you bought personally, except for the hot oil treatments and they worked well. I think I could have gotten the same affect from putting warmed olive oil in my hair and letting it sit with a shower cap on my head for15 minutes.

Sidenote: I'm black my husband is white and he uses my shampoo and conditioner and his hair is shiny, smooth.

I hope I helped you out a little.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Ok first you probably need a hair cut, just to get rid of your split ends that you have, you can't fix those any other way. After that I suggest a trip to a Sally Beauty Supply they have a line that only they sell called Beyond the Zone, the Last Call Hair Mask, and leave in conditioner are two of the best products i can find on the market that are not super expensive that work well.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Erm ... I think you should ask your stylist ... Im not sure .. black people have got drier haid and most products strengthen the hair and locks in moisture... It should be fine ... but speak to your stylist to be sure ... products for caucasion hair dries out my hair cos I need moisture, it might be the other way around and u might end up with greasy hair?

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

My mum is growing her hair out and wants to roller set her hair to give it more volume

I have some 3/4" magnetic rollers will these be too big to use in her hair or will 1/2" rollers be better until she lets her hair grow longer

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

use a mixture of both rollers to set her hair say 3/4" at top of head and 1/2" at back and sides

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

Try the new Satin Hair rollers advertised in Hype Hair magazine this month. Thye should be the perfect size.

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

It depends on a couple of things...

If she is just looking for more volume, then 3/4" will work well. You might want to try and see how well it holds for the week. I know that some hair textures will relax quicker then others, so then she could end up with flat hair. If she wants it to last a whole week then use the 1/2". After it is set, brush it out and tease it. She will get both volume and curl.

Now if she will be setting her hair ever day or every other day, then just use 3/4".

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

Use the medium size magnetic rollers. Large is 1 1/2" so the medium will be perfect. The plastic magnetic rollers are perfect for dry set or wet set. That is what I use.

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

depends on the style she is looking for. If she doesnt know, I would use the smaller ones, and see if that is what she wants, if it is not, you can then wrap her hair and let her set under the dryer about 5-10 min and the curl will flatten a bit.

Need help with my hair!! =)?

Just shave it all off and go britney style.

Need help with my hair!! =)?

First go normal and ask people [or your friends] what they would think if they say sure good but ask just in case they think your a freak. And not to attractive like a mohawk or crazy but good luck!

Need help with my hair!! =)?

do some fun coloring in the underneath layers! that way it's not too in your face and if you like it you can go ahead and do the whole head. Also use a straightening shampoo and deep condition once a week to help salvage your hair!

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

i would like hair that looks wet and is wavy and has that pretty sheen to it....i dont want it big and frizzy i would preferably have it closer to my head and not lose TOO MUCH length...

my hair is naturally thick and big...

suggestions anyone??

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

moose and lots of it

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

when you get out of the shower put a leave in conditioner in your hair (i like garnier fructis) or you can spray your hair with hairspray then let air dry.

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

Wash your hair but don't put conditioner. Right when you get out of the shower take some mousse and rub it through your hair while sqeezing your hair and scrunching it. Then take some gell and put a drop of water in it (so your hair doesn't get sticky) and scrunch your hair with it. Put some hairspray in it and blowdry while scrunching if needed!

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

cut some layers, but not too many.. use a good moisturising oil, then a smoothing serum and probably a curling iron with a large barrel. that should do the trick..

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

You can use gel which says wet affect on it and after u come out of the shower just start scrunching your hair with gel!!

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

Gel and hairspary while your hair is still wet. Gives you the look you are looking for.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

look!. . . my hair is so thin and i want my hair to straighten and relax w/o using any hair products. . .thats really my big problem. . .

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

Dry well using a hair dyer. While doing it, pull the hair straight out and keep it that way till it dries.

If it is thin, you need to have a good protein diet. Also feed hair directly with an egg once a month at least. Oil it too alternately.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

Bend over and blow dry your hair. I know it sounds funny but it works.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

hair straightner or you could ask a local hairdresser

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

Blow dry your hair using a vent brush and pulling the hair with the brush using the dryer very close to the hair and then follow up with a straightener to get any spots that are stubborn however I would suggest using something on your hair to prevent heat damage. I know this is hair product but I found a great light spray for heat damage at sally's beauty supply that works really well and doesn't wieght down your hair... that way you can blow dry or use an iron without causing your hair perminant damage.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

No matter what your hair type is, you can style your hair any way you want it. So if you don't like product, don't use any...but products help it to do what you want it to do and keep it that way. If you want your hair to be straight you can blowdry your hair upside down then use a round brush to straighten. Straightening with a round brush will help your hair to be fuller esp. if you curl the ends with the brush. If you use a flat iron, your hair will become super flat and thin looking.
