Wanting Emo Hair...?

I have shoulder length brown hair, and I want an emo hair style.

Like, a big fringe across my left eye, dyed blonde and a streak of the fringe dyed turquoise blue.

Sorta like this:

http://photobucket.com/mediadetail/?medi...

What would you recomend?

Wanting Emo Hair...?

Omg, that pic is sooo hawt. I love it. I think that I like the idea of the turquoise streak, it sounds sexy. But still, if you wanted to work, they might not accept you because of it. So, maybe stick with the blonde and brown, it's way cute. I also think you should grow your hair a little longer until you decide to cut it. Then, take it to a stylist (the picture).

Wanting Emo Hair...?

i like it personaly. but if u dont have the face for it , then dont do it cuz it will just look really badd

Wanting Emo Hair...?

eh...i don't recommend emo hair my dear.

Wanting Emo Hair...?

blue hair makes you look too freaky...what if you want work?

just go with regular honey blonde..

Wanting Emo Hair...?

Take that pic to a stylist. :]

Wanting Emo Hair...?

Take the photo to the hairdressers, she will cut choppy layers in.

To get it kinda big you have to tease it n stuff, so remember to look after it =]

I think it will look really nice.

Wanting Emo Hair...?

Take that picture to your hair stylist. I have that kind of hair and I get alot of compliments. But my hair's dyed black/reddish-brown

Wanting Emo Hair...?

i think that hairstyle is cute but if u want more hairstyles here u go!! http://photobucket.com/images/scene%2520...

Wanting Emo Hair...?

uh, take the picture to the stylist?

edit: and ew that's not even emo, that's SCENE. god, if you're gonna label at least get them right.

Wanting Emo Hair...?

ughh its really good for people to be diffrent but thats dumb that everyone thinks they have to look the same and all be emo common...

Wanting Emo Hair...?

okay first of all, its not EMO hair.

its scene hair.

emo is a style where people cut themselves and are depressed.

scene is when your not depressed, and have hair like that and are usually very happy.

its scene not emo.

but anyways yes, thats a very cute hair style.

i actually know that girl in the picture.

her hair is different now though.

How do you brush curly hair properly?

I've heard brushing or combing your hair while wet is a big no-no but when you have curly hair and brush it dry it tends to turn into a big frizz ball instead of natural looking ringlets and curls.

The only way I've figured out how to deal with this dilemma is by brushing my hair in the shower while conditioner is it. The comb glides through my hair and when dried naturally I get all curl instead of frizz.

Unfortunately my drain is getting clogged constantly now... Does anyone know of a better way to brush/comb curly hair?

How do you brush curly hair properly?

when you hair has the conditioner in it use a wide tooth comb to comb out the tangles and then rinse. When you get out of the shower let your hair air dry for a little bit than finish combing it out with a wide tooth comb.

The best brush for a girl with curly hair is a Denman brush. You can use this in the shower if you really needed too.

How do you brush curly hair properly?

You can always try wetting your brush before brushing your hair. Or while your hair is wet; blow dry it while brushing it and it'll give your hair a natural curly wave. It also helps if you buy the right shampoo and conditioner, try a type of shampoo and conditioner that has no perfume in it, that might also help :)%26lt;3

How do you brush curly hair properly?

good luck

How do you brush curly hair properly?

Oh no! Don't. It breaks it off. Instead, get a wide toothed COMB and comb through it while wet. Then mosturize a lot.

How do you brush curly hair properly?

There really is no way to stop the shedding all together, but there is ways to lessen the amount. What I do for my curly hair is brush it in the shower while there is conditioner in it. However instead of using a brush, I usually use my fingers, spreading them wide. This way, my hair is still getting untangled, but I'm keep less hair in my drain. Also with using your fingers, you can be extra gentle. Besides brushing your hair while it's wet is very risky because wet hair is very fragile therefor when you brush it, it snaps easily leading to fizz, etc. You can always use an extremely wide comb, but it's hard to find one wide enough, but if you do, you are good to go. Curly hair is so hard to manage, but when done, it's gorgeous as we know! Good luck!!!

What's the best way to keep long hair smooth and tangle-free?

I have really long hair I love to wear free and straight. The only issue I have with it is how its knotted up 86% of the time. I'm not a big fan of electric hair products and of carrying a brush around with me, so are there any other ways of keeping long hair looking soft all day and not like a rat's nest?

What's the best way to keep long hair smooth and tangle-free?

conditioner, also a product called frizzy out

its at walgreens.

Spiral Curl Hair?

How do i spiral curl my hair? i have a big supper and would love to do my hair in spirals. I'll have about an hour to get ready.

Spiral Curl Hair?

use a curling iron, its faster and more conveniant than curlers, just roll up your hair like you usually would with a curling iron and hold it up vertical and pulling away from you, then release downwards for a spiral, you may need practice to get it the way you want, and use hairspray, preferrably aussie to hold your curls in place:D i hope you have a nice supper.

AND DONT PUT ANYTHING IN YOUR HAIR LIKE WATER OR HAIR PRODUCTS BEFORE USING A CURLING IRON OR FLAT IRON, IT WILL JUST FRY YOUR HAIR!!

Spiral Curl Hair?

you have to get the spiral rollers or a spiral curling iron. Or you can try regular rollers, just put them in longways instead of in rows.

Spiral Curl Hair?

get a curling iron that does spiral curls

Spiral Curl Hair?

Use a 3/4 inch barrel curling iron, and curl small sections of hair until it's all curled. If your hair is thin or fine, spray it with a light-hold hairspray before you curl it. When you're done, spray it with a flexible hold hairspray that lasts all day, like Sebastian Super Shaper.

Spiral Curl Hair?

Your can get BIG hair curler at Nordstrom or cheaper at Longs. Wet your hair first so its moist and before you curl each strand, put a little bit of Moise or hairspray and them curl. After your done wrapping up all your hair, blow dry it.

Spiral Curl Hair?

well what my mom and i do is we put mousse or hairspray on our hair and we immediately put the curling iron on the hair and wallah......well it takes about 30 seconds on high to make it really curly soo best of luck....it might not work the way i explained it but good luck with your hair

Spiral Curl Hair?

do you have a curling iron? hot rollers?

Curling iron take a strand of hair and center the iron over it and curl it vertically then open the barrel and pull the iron down out of the ring. repeat then don't brush but run fingers through it or a pick through it and spray lightly.

on hot rollers twist strand then roll onto roller and let set. then when released and cooled run fingers through or pick then spray.

Spiral Curl Hair?

you can get a spiral curling iron

or you can do just about anything with a flat iron you just have to find the right way to turn it

OR you could just use a regular curling iron take about a couple inches of hair and with the barrel closed wrap it around the curling iron for about 8 seconds

Spiral Curl Hair?

In towled dry/damp hair, add a product (preferably something for curls). Wrap tresses of hair in any kind of roller you may have. Spray and blowdry. Using a curling iron, wrap random pieces of hair around the barrel.

I'm new with extensions and i dont want to damage my already damaged short hair. How do I not d

O.K. my hair is brittle and short and I am currently trying 100% human hair glued in extensions that are 18in long that a friend of mine put in for me, she's no proffesional and neither am I. Plus, its a big change to have longer hair now. They look good but you can see my real hair at the top which looks horrible! How can i get a better look and still manage not to damage the already damaged? And what products would be the best to use to keep my hair and the extensions looking great and healthy, such as shampoos, conditioners etc. oh and im hispanic. And I realize that I already took the risk of putting the glue in my hair as damaging it more, but a little glue never hurt anybody, right? So if theres any REAL answers out there I would really love to know.

I'm new with extensions and i dont want to damage my already damaged short hair. How do I not damage it more?

Do not leave them in for more than 2 weeks. Take them out to wash and deep condition your hair. Leaving them in for to long can cause major damage to your hair. try Motions hair products. They work good on black hair. Use a little gel or shine serum to keep the short hair down. If you can, try to flat iron it into the weave to cover it up.

Who needs enemies when you got friends. What did you do? Steal her boyfriend? Don't let friends do your hair!! You messed up on this decision. Just be sure you use PLENTY of hair bond remover. I mean, let it sit in your hair for at least 30 mins before you even think about tugging at your hair. Next time, just go get one of those 1/2 wigs that you just leave front out. Good luck.

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

Ok his hair like everywhere grows really really fast, so it breaks him out (dandruff on head, and irritation on face). His facial hair also gets a lot of ingrown hairs too. The biggest problem is this, when he shaves his skin gets SO dryed out that it looks like dandruff on his face, also when he shaves he gets these nasty bump looking irritation thingys on his face. Poor thing WHAT will he do?!?! If he lets it grow out (which he閳ユ獨 tried) then it閳ユ獟l only make the ingrown hairs on his face get worse and he still breaks out with those nasty bumps. HELP HIM!!! (and yes he does use a moisturizer but it wears off in the middle of the day and looks all dry again)

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

Buy a Boars Head Bristle Brush.

Don't shave for a week.

Every day brush in a downward direction and don't shave.

This will grow the beard out nicely, with all the pores facing in the same direction.

Make sure to brush downward, since this is how we are going to shave, in a downward direction.

OKay.. Now we have a good place to start shaving.

First shave is a big deal, it will take almost twenty minutes, so don't do tthis without adequate time.

You will need two terry cloth facial towels. Soak them HOT water.

A can of BARBASOL, shaving cream. Strong Mint.

Several SINGLE edge razors from Bic. Orange and White.

Have your BF. lie down and wrap his jaw, face and area to be shaved with a pretty hot, but not unbearable wet towel. Just leave his nose poking out so he can breathe. leve this towel there for about three minutes or five minutes, then take it off, and place the other towel on the same way. This hot water is soaking the pores and opening the pores up and softening the hairs on the face.

Then apply the shaving cream, thick and heartily. Let that soak in as well, for three or four minutes.

Wash it off.

Brush downward one last time.

Apply shaving cream again.

Run single edge razor under hot water and in a deliberate and forceful action begin to shave the cheeks. As the razor fills and clogs with hair sitch them for fresh ones, and drop the clogged ones in the sink. It would work nicely if he shaves, and hands the razors to you to clean under the running hot water.

the idea is to have the sharpest blades free of impedements.

Then do the moustache and around the lips.

-finally the chin and the underlip and the neck.

-splash hot water and refresh, washing the face clean.

Go back and pick up all the stray hairs and missed spots.

Make sure to NEVER go AGAINST the grain. That's what causes razor bumps.

after shaving while face is moist, red and sore.

Splash Witchhazel generously.

wait a minute, then splash more.

Do not touch his face, and advice him not to either for at least an hour, while the micro-abrasions dry. This is another cause of razorbumps.

He should apply more witch hazel in an hour.

He should ALWAYS carry his Boars-Bristle Brush and Brush his Head and face repeatedly all day. Only stopping if he has an open sore. In which case brush around it.

Once his face is bare, he should always brush his five-o-clock shadows downwards.

Tee-tree oil and witch hazel are great for these minor skin problems.

Brush the dandruff away and apply small amounts of tee tree oil on the head. Use witch hazel on the face.

good luck.,

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

Ok well you were the only one who I could tell was a MALE (LOL to be fair to the faceless), that and you gave directions on the OLD School method! THanks AGAIN!! Report It

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

DAMN POOR! GO TO DORMOTOLOGIST SIRIOSLY!OR I DUNNO HOW THOSE DOCTORS CALLED WHO DO STUFF WITH FACE!

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

I suggest he look into getting a few laser hair removal treatments. Even two or three treatments will kill a lot of his facial hair and leave the rest a lot thinner and easier to manage. This will make it easier for his razor to glide smoothly across his skin. He should use a moisturizing shave gel (fragrance-free if possible) when shaving, and use a fresh razor blade EVERY time. Before shaving, he should use an exfoliating glove to gently exfoliate his face and lift ingrown hairs to the surface. If he follows these steps, he'll notice a difference in no time.

EDIT: You can get laser hair removal just on the parts you want to go away- the laser tip is very small (maybe one centimeter squared).

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

is he allergic to his shaving products or is his skin hypo-allergic towards anything? i suggest seeing a dematolorgists.

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

use the moisturizer more often and see a dermatologist

My BF has problems with his facial hair when shaving?

Try magic shaving powder.
