What is scab hair?

I had relaxed hair, but I did the big chop and went natural. It has beend 2-3 months, and my hair is still growing out relatively straight. I don't understand this. I was under the impression that once you cut all of your relaxed hair out; you automatically get the beautiful kinks and curls. Could someone please help me??!!!

What is scab hair?

Sometimes you can change the chemical make up of the hair folicle... for example during that time when all women are going through puberty... I got my hair permed... and now 15 years later... I still have curlyish hair... so just becareful of what you put on your hair...

also once you dye your hair you will never have your "natural color" back either...

What is scab hair?

I don't know, sounds kinda gross.

What is scab hair?

HI~ how short did you go? You may still have some relaxed hair left, or, if it's like buzzed, sometimes hair has to really get some length on it before it curls up. Hair grows about 1/2 inch a month.. so an inch an 1/2 or so in about three months will barely start to loop around unless it was extremely kinky curly to begin with.

Also, if you have had it relaxed for many years, hormones can play a part in curly/straight hair. Such as puperty, or if you had a baby.. ect.

What is scab hair?

sounds like scrap hair... i don like the term

Hair cutters remorse!?

Hey guys, listen, I goofed up big time when i cut my hair midway into 8th grade. When i was small, i had the most luscious, crimped-like, wavey, curly, brown and blonde hair, but i took it for granted. One day, i ordered(nicely of course) my mom to turn my crappy side bangs into total straight across the forehead bangs. I was a mess, I looked like kagome from inu yasha and that definately didn't make me all to happy. My hair frizzed to much and i resorted to straighteners, which killed my hair. I went to the stylist and had her cut my long mess of hair into a short hair style i like to call the Selphie look. That's right, short bangs, and my hair curled out at the end, i would be the ideal cosplayer for Selpie Tilmitt from Final Fantasy 9!! Anyways, now, I have great remorse, as i used to have the longest hair in the school, but now my neighbours hair seems far longer than mine. Can people cheer me up? I would love it if people could inspire me and make me feel good about... me

Hair cutters remorse!?

Try not to fret..hair grows back

Hair cutters remorse!?

I don't think that this is a best answer, I chose no best answer but it automatically shows that you gave the best answer. FYI i already know that hair will grow back. Inspiration would have been more helpful, all you said were 7 words that still mean nothing to me. Report It

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

okay so I went to Fred's looking to spend a bunch of money on deep conditioning and repairing hair products so I can get my hair healthy again.. I looked in the regular hair section and they didn't have any, then I went down and saw a whole big section for african american hair.. it had ALL these different hair repairing products that said it reconstruted/rebonded/strengthened damaged hair and split eneds and I couldn't help but buy some.. is it okay to use them in my hair? will it make my hair better? I bought

2 Hot Oil Treatments by Alberto v05 and Smooth 'n Shine 60 second critical repair. I also bought 3 "Seville Orange moisture miracle" but the girl on the cover is white so I know its safe for my hair.

I use Brilliant Brunette shampoo %26amp; conditioner, TIGI bedhead brunette goddess and pantene pro-v restoratives time renewal (and their hair mask) which line should I use?

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Conditioning products are conditioning products so you should be okay.

Personally, I really like Joico's K-Pak shampoo %26amp; conditioner when my hair needs TLC. I also like Pantene conditioners a lot.

BTW, I tried John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette products %26amp; found they left my hair feeling stringy and a little dry.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

You may want to ask a professional. The race of the person has nothing to do with whether or not you can use the product in your hair. Personally I have had no experience with black hair care products, which is why I say ask a professional and if they say that they are safe to use in your type of hair then go for it. Products are all about hair type.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Yes. You can use black haircare products, as far as shampoo and conditioner, on your hair. Anything else wouldn't do any good for your hair. All you are doing is switching shampoo. If you are that unsure, check the labels and if you are just paranoid about it, then go ahead and ask but there is no big deal.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Of course you can use that stuff on your hair. Conditioner is conditioner is conditioner no matter who it's marketed toward. My advice to you is to use the best products you can afford because they do have a better quality of ingredients than the $1.99 drugstore brand.

I like Matrix biolage hydrotherapie shampoo, conditioner etc. If I don't feel like going to my salon to buy some I get Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise (great deep conditioner) and Pantene's Relaxed and Natural shampoo.

I've never tried any of the other products you bought personally, except for the hot oil treatments and they worked well. I think I could have gotten the same affect from putting warmed olive oil in my hair and letting it sit with a shower cap on my head for15 minutes.

Sidenote: I'm black my husband is white and he uses my shampoo and conditioner and his hair is shiny, smooth.

I hope I helped you out a little.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Ok first you probably need a hair cut, just to get rid of your split ends that you have, you can't fix those any other way. After that I suggest a trip to a Sally Beauty Supply they have a line that only they sell called Beyond the Zone, the Last Call Hair Mask, and leave in conditioner are two of the best products i can find on the market that are not super expensive that work well.

I'm white and wondering if I can use hair products from the black haircare section in my hair?

Erm ... I think you should ask your stylist ... Im not sure .. black people have got drier haid and most products strengthen the hair and locks in moisture... It should be fine ... but speak to your stylist to be sure ... products for caucasion hair dries out my hair cos I need moisture, it might be the other way around and u might end up with greasy hair?

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

My mum is growing her hair out and wants to roller set her hair to give it more volume

I have some 3/4" magnetic rollers will these be too big to use in her hair or will 1/2" rollers be better until she lets her hair grow longer

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

use a mixture of both rollers to set her hair say 3/4" at top of head and 1/2" at back and sides

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

Try the new Satin Hair rollers advertised in Hype Hair magazine this month. Thye should be the perfect size.

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

It depends on a couple of things...

If she is just looking for more volume, then 3/4" will work well. You might want to try and see how well it holds for the week. I know that some hair textures will relax quicker then others, so then she could end up with flat hair. If she wants it to last a whole week then use the 1/2". After it is set, brush it out and tease it. She will get both volume and curl.

Now if she will be setting her hair ever day or every other day, then just use 3/4".

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

Use the medium size magnetic rollers. Large is 1 1/2" so the medium will be perfect. The plastic magnetic rollers are perfect for dry set or wet set. That is what I use.

What size of hair rollers for hair that is between 2 1/2" - 3" in length?

depends on the style she is looking for. If she doesnt know, I would use the smaller ones, and see if that is what she wants, if it is not, you can then wrap her hair and let her set under the dryer about 5-10 min and the curl will flatten a bit.

Need help with my hair!! =)?

do some fun coloring in the underneath layers! that way it's not too in your face and if you like it you can go ahead and do the whole head. Also use a straightening shampoo and deep condition once a week to help salvage your hair!

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

i would like hair that looks wet and is wavy and has that pretty sheen to it....i dont want it big and frizzy i would preferably have it closer to my head and not lose TOO MUCH length...

my hair is naturally thick and big...

suggestions anyone??

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

moose and lots of it

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

when you get out of the shower put a leave in conditioner in your hair (i like garnier fructis) or you can spray your hair with hairspray then let air dry.

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

Wash your hair but don't put conditioner. Right when you get out of the shower take some mousse and rub it through your hair while sqeezing your hair and scrunching it. Then take some gell and put a drop of water in it (so your hair doesn't get sticky) and scrunch your hair with it. Put some hairspray in it and blowdry while scrunching if needed!

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

cut some layers, but not too many.. use a good moisturising oil, then a smoothing serum and probably a curling iron with a large barrel. that should do the trick..

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

You can use gel which says wet affect on it and after u come out of the shower just start scrunching your hair with gel!!

Illusion of wet wavy hair?

Gel and hairspary while your hair is still wet. Gives you the look you are looking for.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

look!. . . my hair is so thin and i want my hair to straighten and relax w/o using any hair products. . .thats really my big problem. . .

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

Dry well using a hair dyer. While doing it, pull the hair straight out and keep it that way till it dries.

If it is thin, you need to have a good protein diet. Also feed hair directly with an egg once a month at least. Oil it too alternately.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

Bend over and blow dry your hair. I know it sounds funny but it works.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

hair straightner or you could ask a local hairdresser

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

Blow dry your hair using a vent brush and pulling the hair with the brush using the dryer very close to the hair and then follow up with a straightener to get any spots that are stubborn however I would suggest using something on your hair to prevent heat damage. I know this is hair product but I found a great light spray for heat damage at sally's beauty supply that works really well and doesn't wieght down your hair... that way you can blow dry or use an iron without causing your hair perminant damage.

How to Straighten my Hair without any using hair products. . .?

No matter what your hair type is, you can style your hair any way you want it. So if you don't like product, don't use any...but products help it to do what you want it to do and keep it that way. If you want your hair to be straight you can blowdry your hair upside down then use a round brush to straighten. Straightening with a round brush will help your hair to be fuller esp. if you curl the ends with the brush. If you use a flat iron, your hair will become super flat and thin looking.

Hair mousse/scrunched tips?

i want a mousse that will give me hair the wet look not big curls but just like when your hairs hard and doesnt go frizzy right away.

what are some good mousse suggestions/ or scrunching tips?

Hair mousse/scrunched tips?

hi maree, i have a couple tips for you... first, get yourself some extra hold, or super hold mousse. wash your hair as your normally do, but if you use conditioner, water it down or use just a several drops in your hand and spread it through your hair.. too much or constant conditioning makes the hair silky and unmanagable. after washing your hair, gently ring out excess water... get the tangles out and then take a dry towel to your hair and get out as much water as you can. do this carefully as well, as the hair is rubbery when wet so you won't break any off. shake the mousse well, then turn the can upside down and spray it into your hand. divide it between both hands. make both hands do the same thing, start at the bottom of your sides and scrunch up towards your scalp, remousse and do the back of your hair in the same way. remousse your hand, split it, then do your bangs and the top of your head by scooping up motions, like your hand is vacuuming up your hair. then gently bend over and scrunch your hair towards your scalp, while feeling if the mousse is all through your hair and up to your scalp. if you need more, add more. just scrunch all over your head, several times over, from the bottom of your hair towards the scalp, always. then, gently raise your head and finger fix anything out of place, wild hairs, your bangs, the top, you can also take a pick and raise the crown area of your hair for lift. it will stay with the stickiness of the mousse. after you like the style...let air dry. it will keep the wet look long after it drys, until you brush out your hair. i hope this helped! :)

Hair mousse/scrunched tips?

Use a gel called got2b glued its at ant grocery store i have curly hair so i know what you mean

Hair mousse/scrunched tips?

Try Aussie Catch the wave taming milk: Just Apply while your hair is wet/damp and srunch with your fingers or braid into a fishtail or french braid(s) and let your hair dry. It will give you hair the surf girl wave with out the frizz and it won't make your hair rock hard it will feel so natural

Hair mousse/scrunched tips?

well i wanted that look today and what i did was combed my hair, put in these products

http://www.redken.com/products/displayPr...

http://www.redken.com/products/displayPr... and didnt comb it just kinda let it dry a little then touched it up with a blow dryer and there i had it.....sry it not mousse but there you go!

ps.dont comb your hair when its dry run your fingers thru it...

Growing My Hair Out ?

I am a male and I have been growing my hair out since june, i have kind of thick hair and it looks very big, i use good shampoo and conditoners usually American Crew or Redken but i notice my hair looks very thick, are there any tips to growing it out long and how to prevent it from getting too thick, i don;'t want to have that heavy feeling

Thanks

Growing My Hair Out ?

go to a salon and tell the stylist you want to thin your hair

she/he will use these special kind of scissors that thin out your hair making it look less full and makes it weigh less

Growing My Hair Out ?

You can thin it out but it won't help much, its just the way your hair is, its frustrating yes, but you just got to find a style that suits your hair, everyone is different, try combing and styling it different

Growing My Hair Out ?

have your stylist thin it out

Growing My Hair Out ?

Thining your hair does help, especially very thick hair.

Growing My Hair Out ?

Thinning your hair will take some of the thickness out, but it won't look very healthy... I suggest cutting it shorter because it will give u a clean, respectable look. If u really want to keep ure long hair then use a straightner on it for extra effect!

Growing My Hair Out ?

rub ur scalp with olive oil

Growing My Hair Out ?

You could go to the salon and have some of the bulk taken out of it, have your stylist thin it out a bit but leave the length, it will probably give you some good texture as well.

Hair straightened?

i want to get my hair straigtened- permenently. I really like my hair staight, but it is such a pain to do manually and it only lasts untill i shower next, which is usually a day later. i really want to get it done chemically, but i'm afraid that it will really damage my hair. I have thick, wavy,- sometimes curly- hair that is sometimes a big frizzball but sometimes pretty. should i get it straigtened? for the people who have gotten it done, did it damage your hair or would you do it again? thanks

Hair straightened?

ur damaging ur hair if ur going to put chemicals in your hair.

if done right by a professional who knows what they are doing, then it should turn out really pretty, straight, and less damaged.

when it's redone every so and so, the pro stylist has to be careful not to go over the same area or else that will damage the hair....

if it's processed too long it will damage the hair..

if your hair is already damaged... do not do it

hopefully the stylist don't use a cheap brand or use an alternate type of product to do this... or else you may not get the results

and yes, you would have to do it again if you want it to continually be straight bc your regrowth will be ur natural thick wavy frizzy hair... it's the new growth that needs to be retouched not the one that has already been processed.

this is for TRICKB, or whoever is interested... a relaxer relaxes the curls. it does not straighten the curls. it helps make hair more manageable. over time, using roller sets (best way to smooth and straighten out the hair after a relaxer) is the safest method to help make it straight. if you use a flat iron that will help too but not right after you got a relaxer. wait at least 48 hours to the least. if you use the wrong type of relaxer on a specific hair type that could make it worse.. it'll feel hard and crispy or even breakage.

Hair straightened?

i tell u my experience, i had beautiful tight curly hair, until one day i wanted my hair straight..cause a blow dryer couldn't do the solving..so i did a relaxer and boy did it effed up my hair...its not even curly anymore, like on the roots its curly then on the ends its straight, it looks disgusting and it has no form whatsoever, i cut my hair 3 times this year and no solution, sometimes i just wanna go bald...biggest mistake..it looks frizzy! and damaged i tried every treament and nothing!DO NOT PUT ANY CHEMICALS ON UR HAIR!

Hair straightened?

I tried to have it chemically straightened when I was in junior high, and it didn't do a dang thing. NOT A THING. That was a while ago, though. I can't believe nothing changed...

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

i have a big party tonight and my hair is really strait. what should i do to it.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

Girl, take your hair and add flair. Add curls or put it in a really nice updoe. You can also try to make it wavy and let it down. Ask your friends for help, they are the best ones to go to.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

Get a shampoo and roller set at a salon and wear it up in a curly updo for a change

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

Curling tongs to make it wavy.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

put it in a style like crimps, waterfalls. That will make your hair look cute. That's wat i would do.

I Know Right!

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

if your hair is long, go for wavy long locks.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

If you want to keep it straight, just get some hairspray and shoot it at the roots to give volume. If you want curly, then get a curling iron and have ringlets. You could try a nice hairdo, like a French braid or messy ponytail or something. If you want professional help, go to a salon and ask for their opinion.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

i like the way your avator has it try that or do it in a bun with curls coming out of it

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

Stick your finger in a socket.

That'll curl your hair you little homophobe.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

i have straight hair too and when i wear it curly i get many compliments on it. you should try it.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

try taking a comb and blowdrying your hair out. Even if its already dry. It will add volume to it.

If you have strait hair, how do you make it look good?

Blow dry it straight using a big round brush.

How can I create loose waves in my hair?

I have kinda wavy hair but I want big, loose waves. How can I do that?

How can I create loose waves in my hair?

You can roll your hair on big rollers and roll one up and the other down and repeat. I have watch this don in a salon.

It doesn't have to be wet just leave it awhile.

How can I create loose waves in my hair?

After you take a shower, when your hair is still wet, braid your hair in one big braid in the back of your head. Take the braid out in the morning but don't brush your hair because that makes it frizzy. Try two braids if you want.

How do i get my hair to curl like THIS????

How do i get my hair to curl like THIS????

i fix mine like this all the time. its sooo easy! after you wash your hair towel dry it. i bend over and scrunch it with the towel then i use a soft mouse and scrunch it through my hair. don't brush it, and allow to air dry.

How do i get my hair to curl like THIS????

Use a 2" or 3" barrel iron depending on hair length and use a finishing spray. Not a mega hold hairspray or you can use a pomeade- tres semme has a good one.

How do i get my hair to curl like THIS????

get a loose perm.

How do i get my hair to curl like THIS????

You can do a couple of things.

First, you could get a spiral curling iron thats no more then 1/2"-1". You use it like any other curling iron, this one just defines small curls more. You might want to divide your hair into sections so it isn't so overwhelming to see all your hair and think about curling it. Also, only do small pieces of hair. About 1/4". Before you curl your hair, after you wash your hair put some curl enhacning cream on your hair. It will help your hair hold the curl. When your completely done curling your hair, it's nice to break apart the curls to make them look more natural looking and then to lightly spray your hair with Flexible Hold Hair Spray [Aussie has a great one!].

Another option is to scrunch your hair when you get out of the shower. Get some gel or mousse, and hair spray. Don't brush your hair out and finger comb through it so it isn't extremely tangly. Then, scrunch your hair and wait for it to air dry. If you want to, you can air dry it on a cool setting.

How do i get my hair to curl like THIS????

My 11 year does her hair likee this every day...it's easy. The night before when you get out of the shower and your hair is still wet...run moose through it and roll it is big rollers. The mosse will help home the curl and make it soft not stiff. We use those big sponge rollers and she sleeps in them.

How do i get my hair to curl like THIS????

u can try scrunch it

Thanks a million!

What is the correct way of straightening ur hair? Pls specify the best products you think are a must to get?

I've been natural for a couple years ( maybe closer to 3). I don't straighten my hair often because I don't like the heat in it, but BioSilk has worked great for me and my hair gets pretty kinky. I live down south, close to the coast and BioSilk holds up to 80% humidity and 90-degree nights on virgin hair.

I do my normal shampoo and add a deep conditioner (Tea Tree Cholesterol + plastic cap + 20 minutes) and towel pat. I clamp alll my hair together on the top of my head, except for a small section across the back (this keeps it mostly wet). Pour a little BioSilk Straightner in my hand and comb through with a rat tail, then blow dry on HOT with a comb attachment to straighten. I follow up with a ceramic flat iron to silken and give it a relaxed look. I keep doing that in 1-inch sections from one side to the other. If any section gets dry, I just spray a little water on it before I do the BioSilk.

It usually lasts about 4-5 days before a touch-up and I can hot curl it or wrap it at night. It lasted longer when I was up north, though. Daily, I use Organic Root Stimulator Conditionig Spray (oil sheen) so it won't get too dry from the irons. It stays bouncy and everything.

I love it for a total change of pace.

What is the correct way of straightening ur hair? Pls specify the best products you think are a must to get?

Chi's work really goood! i have one.

Chi offers hair straightening products.

What is the correct way of straightening ur hair? Pls specify the best products you think are a must to get?

ok buy africas best herbl oil your going to put this on your hair as you part your hair and pull silm or small like about 1cm thick of hair and put the oil on it and uses an pulg in the wall flat iorn(you can controll the heat mush easer with the plug ins and thers a way less chance of burning off your hair and skin in seconds if you dont know what your doing.)

so make sure the rest of your hair is in a pony tail you want to start with the side clostest to your ear and get a small pc put ole on it then uses the flat ioen and keep tacking small pices of hair out of your poneytail as you go along ther will be a pont wher you woukd have to put the newly straight hair in a light poney tail cuz if you have it too tight it will leve a dent.so the oli is for shine and to get rid of the burnt hair smell and to help keep it from drying out. so

when you flat iorn your hair you put the hair in between the two flat hot plates and clamp it shut on to your hair start from root to tip going stright down to the floor.do this after you aply the oil.

the oils you just put a cap full in your hands rub it aroung ad put it on your hair from root to tip evertime after you pake a pice out of ur poney tail.

Anyway to get straight hair curly?

i want to have those big wayvish curls in my hair, are there any permanent ways to do it? i dont want anything that damages my hair too much but i would be willing to put something in it to make my limp boring hair go away

Anyway to get straight hair curly?

I think this is a perfect question for me to answer. I usually always have my hair straight as well. I was kinda getting tired of it since my friends always see me like that. So my friend talked to me about this product she bought at CVS( you can find it in walgreens as well) it helps you get curls!! how cool is that..!!?She let me try it.. and so i did. They curls look very natural.. And go perfect with the summer theme.. :]

You should go to a store and ask for the product. it really works. If not... wet your hair and put some gel in it then blow dry it.. it also looks very natural.

And if that doesnt do it.. well just buy a curler iron...that takes a long time ...depending on your hair lenght.

Hope i helped a little

Love,lizbeth

Anyway to get straight hair curly?

ummm you didnt put in the name of the product so this isnt very useful Report It

Anyway to get straight hair curly?

other than perm it i dont think so

Anyway to get straight hair curly?

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

I have long hair which is a big hassle to wash every single day and i ehard that it is bad for ur hair to wash every day...so how long is good to wait before i wash my hair?

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

Wash it at least every 3 days. Leaving it unwashed for a week or more can cause your hair to attract germs and pests. Unless you want your hair to itch or have scalp problems, wash at least twice a week.

not more than 2 people can tell when u dont wash it its embasrrasing 2

I agree, do it every other day. I have very long hair too and this schedule works fine for me.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

Freshly washed hair is fine and flowing, then after a day it gets weighed down slightly, then it gets weighed down more, then it starts to become stringy. I wash it before it gets to the stringy stage where someone could tell that it looks oily.

Depending upon how much oil your scalp produces you could wash it every 2 or 3 days.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

My hair seems like yours, I wash 3-4 times per week, I feel good. For your reference.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

That really depends on your individual hair, and how it works with the shampoo/conditioner that you use. I have long hair as well, and I have found that washing mine every other day generally works pretty well. Sometimes, it seems a bit greasy by the second day, so if necessary I wash it two nights in a row. I have also gone an extra day without washing it, and it's been fine.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

i think washing your hair everyday is fine i wash my hair everyday.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

wash it every other day, your hair will still look fine and it wont be oily, just as long as you dont touch it all the time.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

Depends of lots of things. Wash it when it starts to get too oily, or when it gets dirty or sweaty from work or exercise. When I was a child I washed my hair once a week. As a teenager, I had to wash it every day. Now I can wait two days, usually.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

Ewwww.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

Mine is long but I still wash it every day when i take a bath. I always use a conditioner to keep it from being dry. Other than that, I get a trim every 2 or 3 months. Never had problems with it looking unhealthy.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

well everyday is good, especially if you put hair products in it. You wouldn't want a nasty build up.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

Every third day is fine. By washing it every day you are stimulating the scalp to produce more oil thus making your hair limp and oily faster. The natural oils are actually really good for your hair, also you will find after a while of washing it less it wont get oily as quickly. When you go to the hairdresser for an up do most prefer you to have washed your hair the day before so it holds the style better and as for hygiene issues consider this, Nits like clean hair - not dirty!

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

i agree with you it is a pain

i ahve very thick hair and its curly too

so i jsut reccomend washing it whenever it starts to look bad

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

I would wash my hair everyother day because if you wash your hair every day you loose vitamins and your hair isn't as soft.!

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

Well since you have long hair, i would wash it once every other day. It is good to have natural oil. It is the best natural oil that best brings out the inherent shine in your hair. But if you have some days where it is noticeable that it looks greasy or matted, wash it. It really depends on the days. but try not to wash your hair everyday because it extracts all the natural oils you actually need.

How many days should u wait to wash ur hair?

It depends on whether you use products in your hair or not, or whether it gets oily. It can be bad for your hair if your hair is naturally dry, and the ends are brittle. Otherwise every few days should be fine, I have clients that come in weekly to have their hair washed and styled. So if it looks clean and no product build up you could even go weekly.

When you wash your hair you only need to wash near the scalp because rinsing the shampoo out is usually enough to clean the ends. This will stop it getting as damaged also. A deep treatment every so often is great for long hair also to keep it in top condition.

My lhasa apso has clumps of hair on his legs...?

actually, he is not my dog, he is my "aunts" and we are keeping him with us. She told me he needed a hair cut and that i could give him one.

the only problem is, he has these very big clumps of dirt and hair on his legs, and around his ears.

i know its from not being brushed or bathed and staying outside, but they have formed to the shape of his legs and put off a bad oder.

i cant cut them off because i cant tell where the ball ends and the leg begins.

i really dont want to cut him.

what do i do??

thanks for all your help!

My lhasa apso has clumps of hair on his legs...?

I think that if he is matted that badly, a professional groomer needs to tackle this job. Especially if the mats have formed that closely to the skin.

If I were you, I would spend $30 on a professional grooming for the dog, and have that be your Christmas present to your aunt.

I'm afraid that if you try it, you could seriously injure him.

My lhasa apso has clumps of hair on his legs...?

If he's matted that badly, you should take him to a groomer and have him shaved. Don't try to cut it yourself because you could end up cutting him instead. Just take him to a groomer and they'll have him looking good in no time.

Dyed hair vs. natural hair?

so i made the big mistake of dying my hair a lot from 6th grade to the beggining of 8th grade. now 8th grade is close to over. i am trying to grow out my roots. this summer i am going to get my hair cute a little shorter to speed the process up, but i won't cut it super short. any tips how to keep. and what i ha ve noticed is the dyed part of my hair holds a lot my water after i shower, takes longer to dry, gets naughty fast, and dries wavy crazy. the natural hair dries pretty fast, is really soft and manageable, and straight. when it all grows out, will my hair be soft, straight, manageable and dry fast. loves閳俱儮娅忛埦?br>Dyed hair vs. natural hair?

When it grows out it will all be soft smooth, and more managable but only if you take care of it, dont dye it again, and make sure not to damage it with heat.

Just protect it to your best ability and you will have smooth shiny hair once its grown out.

PS: The wait is worth it :)

Dyed hair vs. natural hair?

natural hair is soo much better, you could just get some highlights if you really wantt. Dont really get question

Dyed hair vs. natural hair?

well I personally have never dyed my hair and I don't plan on it because of all the damage it does to your hair, plus I think I would look funny with any other color than blonde. So I can't really tell you from experience but I would think that it would be like your roots.

Dyed hair vs. natural hair?

You're hair holds water because it is damaged. Don't shampoo as much and condition everyday. Protein treatments will help reverse some of the damage but not all of it. It is impossible for your hair to fully recover. You just have to grow it and keep cutting off the dyed parts.

Dyed hair vs. natural hair?

semi-permanent hair colour is really good because it doesn't damage your hair so you can change you hair colour often but your hair is still silky smooth and manageable. I have medium brown hair and I semi-permanently dye it every 8 weeks (at home when i have time) and i do it anywhere from red to dark brown and because it washes out, ifyou don't have time to dye it, you won't get roots. If you want hair to look good without roots, semipermanently dye it brown and that way it will even out the colour of the hair and won't damage it in the slightest. I've done it for 6 years and I have long hair and it's still soft and silky. good luck!
